Mazen Alali is a Jordanian Artiest, Architect, author, and multidisciplinary designer specializing in BioMimicry, computational design, digital fabrication, and heritage conservation.

He is the founder and principal architect of RUM Atelier, where he leads projects that merge advanced technologies with traditional craftsmanship to create contextually innovative solutions.

Mazen is currently the Lead Architectural Consultant for projects in the Wadi Rum World Heritage Site, focusing on sustainable desert architecture that amplifies the natural environment. He is also active in academia, teaching digital fabrication, parametric design, material innovation, and AI integration.

Mazen’s work has been recognized through collaborations with institutions such as the British Embassy and Council.

In 2020 he was nominated as Middle Eastern Architectural Personality of the Year. Earlier, he served as Student Ambassador for the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) Visiting School in Jordan.
